SPARK Partners with Green H2 India to Launch a Clean Energy Innovation Hub in Sharjah
Green H2 India, a JV partner of New Energy Opportunities Limited of Australia, specialises in advancing clean energy, hydrogen and related decarbonisation technologies.
Sharjah, United Arab Emirates / India / Australia — 15 July 2026: GreenH2 Opportunities Pvt. Ltd., operating as Green H2 India, a clean energy venture operating under licence from New Energy Opportunities Limited of Australia, has signed a strategic collaboration agreement with Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SPARK) to support the establishment of a Clean Energy Innovation Hub within SPARK in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
The agreement establishes a strategic framework between Green H2 India and SPARK to build a regional clean energy innovation ecosystem anchored in Sharjah, with a focus on commercialising and deploying clean energy technologies across the Middle East and supporting international expansion into markets including Asia, APAC, LATAM and Europe.
Under the agreement, the parties will collaborate on the identification, onboarding and scaling of clean energy startups and companies, venture building, technology transfer, innovation programs, research collaboration, knowledge sharing and capability building. The agreement also contemplates support for startups establishing entities in the UAE through SPARK, joint innovation programs, sponsored pilots and potential equity participation in ventures incubated through the Hub.
Green H2 India is the Indian platform company established to advance clean energy, hydrogen and related decarbonisation technologies in the Indian and Asian market. It operates under licence from New Energy Opportunities Limited, an Australian clean energy investment and commercialisation platform focused on emerging green technologies, including hydrogen, clean fuels and related energy transition opportunities.
Through this relationship, Green H2 India is able to leverage New Energy Opportunities' technology relationships, commercialisation capability, investment network and international clean energy strategy, while providing an on-the-ground Indian and Asian platform for execution, market development and regional partnerships.

Key Features of the Agreement
The agreement has an initial term of three years and provides a framework for ongoing collaboration between the parties, including potential joint programs, innovation challenges, sponsored pilots, startup support services and venture development activities.
The collaboration positions SPARK as a regional launchpad for clean energy technology companies and provides Green H2 India with a strategic UAE base to support venture development, technology deployment and cross-border expansion.
Under the agreement, SPARK will:
- Provide access to Sharjah's innovation ecosystem and facilities
- Support licensing and company formation for participating startups
- Facilitate connections with local universities, R&D centres and ecosystem partners
- Support branding and visibility for the initiative
- Enable participation in SPARK events locally and internationally
Green H2 India will:
- Lead execution and management of venture development, technology transfer and innovation programs
- Bring existing clean energy technologies for deployment and commercialisation
- Identify and support new clean energy startups and companies
- Provide expertise in venture building, financial modelling and scaling strategies
- Support international market access through its broader network
The parties have also agreed that Green H2 India will establish a business licence and physical office in Sharjah to support the Hub's presence at SPARK, with a target timeframe of three to six months from signing.
